My stomach drops into the pit of my guilt
And I feel like I've just killed someone.
The onslaught of dread, knowing what's next
Sends me reeling,
Boiling myself in my own regret, anger, and fear,
As I walk down the halls of justice.
And although I have come to terms with my misdoings,
I can't shake one thought;
If one in four women are raped, then why the fuck aren't our prisons full?
