I run in circles and I live up to my reputation.
I go through the motions
Drink the drinks
And life still seems dulled.
A film blurs my world view and the spark
Has fled.
Distractions my only recourse,
Petty amusements eat up my day.
My scrawlings hoping to say something meaningful,
Yet it seems like they lift off the page and just float away
Into
Nothingness.
