Triumph
I lagged,
Lazy and procrastinatory,
Setting things aside, holding too much pride.
And then I fell.
Tripped, stumbled, and crashed,
My hair singed from falling through the atmosphere.
And I had to pull myself up, fighting and kicking,
Just to get by.
But I did it.
Working til my body nearly fell apart,
Limbs twitching from fatigue and mind googly from wear,
I did it.
